The right to bear arms, our second amendment to the Bill of Rights, must first be understood in its own context before it can be explained or argued. As it is written now it states; “A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” Alone as it stand leaves a lot to interpret.
